Prologue:

Today's featured celebrity, Kory Mitchell, is a personal favorite of mine and goes back to the days when I initially gained a full awareness of my own gay (SGL) status. I'm publishing him now as close to World AIDS Day as possible. Kory, upon learning of his own HIV diagnosis, became a gay porn industry advocate and educator for HIV/AIDS. Background:

By the time I was thirteen years old, there was no lingering doubt in my mind. I'm gay - same gender loving (SGL). I'd never even had a girlfriend yet as an early teenager, that was no longer an option. I was also still a virgin. 

I had two first cousins (identical twins) both gay and four years older than me. We'd discussed the subject of their being gay and they expressed their support, advice, and insight to me. Their oldest brother is SGL also and he'd guided them both along the way. Now, they were offering to do the same for me. This included back-issues of some very interesting and very picture-filled gay porn-star magazines that I was much-too-young to buy on my own. 

One of these older magazines, I believe the title was "Black Inches" featured on the cover a full frontal picture of Kory Mitchell - arms raised high showing both of his hairy armpits. I was now entering puberty and the growth of my own body hair, especially my armpit and pubic, gave me cause to marvel and wonder.
