The World Through My Eyes

The World Through My Eyes: A collection of essays, reflections and thoughts about men, sex, love, relationships, politics, friendships, nudism, current events, social concerns, humanitarian issues, religion and all those wonderful experiences that constitute life as seen and felt by me: a thirty-something Deaf Gay man of mixed racial heritage (half-black, half-white) living in the Virginia Beach area of the United States. A scrapbook of my life. I've been a confirmed Gay nudist for the past 20 years (since puberty). Sometimes, we just need to step back and chill and try not to be so serious and tense. Life is short, stand up and get into it! nekkidfurryboi@gmail.com.

Thanksgiving, 2011

It's Thanksgiving! Where has all of 2011 gone? In keeping this blog, the year seems to be passing by all too fast. In keeping with the holiday this week, I want to take a few moments here to reflect on the things that I'm really grateful for in my life. The people that I truly love are at the top of the list: first, my partner, my lover, my soulmate and my friend. This is our third Thanksgiving together and each day gets better than the one before. I love you, my man!

Next on my list are my family. My parents, my siblings and their families. We grew together and fought together and still we're together: we're family. I love you all. Then, there's my extended family: much love and blessings to you! Especially to my twin first cousins: you're nine years older than me; wiser and experienced, yet you welcome and accept me as an equal in all that we share. Much love to you both and to your partners.

I appreciate all my friends and all of you here. Thank you for your love and support! You're the best! I love my community, all my gay brothers and sisters everywhere. I'm proud to be a gay man and I appreciate all of you in showing me the way. I'm a Deaf gay man who is also a humanitarian and a nudist. I'm happy with who I am and that confidence has come to me from all of you!

I'm appreciative of my heritage: both Greek and Nigerian. It hasn't always been easy deciding exactly who or what I am but the strength that I've received from both cultures have blessed me and made me a better man. I'm thankful to God for my faith that was instilled in me from birth. I believe but I'm not a blind follower. I know the love of the Almighty is greater than the hurtful words from mere mortals.

Much love to each and every one of you who visit here! Happy Thanksgiving!

Mandingo: Actor From Yesteryear

Mandingo is the stage name of one of the few popular actors from our past. Good looking, light skinned and with a gymnast build, he was a familiar ass and cock in the 1980s pre-condom era. This was during a time with African-American and mixed race actors were not in a great demand in mainstream gay pornographic movies.

Mandingo was well-known for his generously sized cock, smooth chest and an ass that could receive any dick offered. He was very versatile in front of the camera and many times would go both ways in the same movie. His special talent was in any scene where his exceptional oral skills were featured.

Unusual for the times, Mandingo was able to avoid the cheaply produced Black films of the era and did most of his work with Falcon Studios. There are some scene clips of him currently available on their website. Some of the movies in which he received star credits are: Sex Magic, Weekend Lock Up, Dirt Bikes, Bronc Rider and Debauched Debauchery Orgies.

Mixed Race Erections

Mixed race, masculine and muscular! These men and their growing manhoods offer living proof that all of them are proud products of the best their diverse heritages have retained throughout the ages. And I, for one, can attest to the sexual prowess of these mixes of the races. They're all the epitome of what we like to call a man's man!

Some use the term biracial to describe these studs. Others refer to them as multiracial. As a Greek-Nigerian gay man, I prefer the mixed race name. Biracial, to me, means simply two-races. More often than not, many of us are the result of a combination of more than two racial groups.

To me, multiracial is just too monopolistic, like an international conglomerate that depersonalizes us all. I'm mixed, a mutt, and that's what I use.

Regardless of the label used, we are all beautiful, proud and embody the spirit of humanity. Some may judge us as too much of one culture or another. That might be true, but we know who and what we are and we're all comfortable with ourselves and the skin that we're in.

Frosty Mornings, Chilly Nights

Summer is over, for this year, a season of the past. Now that it's gone, we're waking up to mornings where outside the windows, the landscape is covered with a layer of frost. Enough to let us know that "Baby, it's cold outside."

And that's not all. At evenings, the sun is setting earlier. Once it disappears, the thermometer plummets. Again, another reminder of the fact that "Baby, it's cold outside.

This upcoming weekend, the first one in the month of November, the time changes from Daylight Savings Time. This will shorten our days of sunlight even more. Longer nights and cooler temperatures. Oh yes, "Baby, it's cold outside."  What options do we have to spend all this extra time while inside?

We can console and comfort each other and create our own heat. It's the Fall season and "Baby, it's cold outside." Solution: now's the time for us to set our watches, alarms and clocks. Now is the time to fuck!
