It represents all that we hold important and true! 

Our acceptance and confidence in our nakedness affords us extra reasoning to be joyful and proud of who we are and what we are without: disguise!

We have nothing to cause embarrassment, guilt or shame. Our bodies are truly ourselves, who we are meant to be!

Total appreciation of all the aspects and attributes of ourselves is part of what makes each one of us special and unique!

Too many of our community have been taught that nudity is depraved, disgraceful that is best dealt with by marginalization, ridicule and prejudice. This false judgment is outright discrimination and hatred.

For those of us who are bare practitioners (bisexual or gay men who prefer our nakedness) our pride in being us encompasses all of us, emotional. mental, physical and spiritual. It is our essence, our soul!

We are aware of our differences in our physical appearance, but those discrepancies are overcome by our similarities and our shared humanity.

Our ecstasy in being among those we perceive as most like ourselves is a trait we all share!

Each and every one of us being us!

The World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) has no official date. It is an international clothing-optional bike ride in which participants plan, meet and ride together en masse on human-powered transport 

(the majority are on bicycles but unicycles, skateboards and inline skates are also allowed) to "deliver a vision of a cleaner, safer body-positive world."

PROGRESS PRIDE FLAG!

This flag, "The Progress Pride Flag" was adopted by the international GLBTQ+ community and culture as the official banner to represent us to the world. It was designed by Daniel Quasar in 2018 and was adopted the same year. It features an arrow-pointed insert with the black and brown colours representing marginalized communities of colour as well as the black representing those persons living with HIV/AIDS and those who died from AIDS complications. The arrow-shaped insert represents progress made and the need to move forward.

Yes, the month of May has arrived in all the seasonal glory that it is entitled to have. The sun is shining and now we have warming temperatures that encourage our natural nakedness!

We're free, we're happy and we are ignited with Spring fever!

In reality, there's no reason for us to stay inside. There's even less reason to remain wearing those pesky clothes. This is the time of year for us all to strip and be bare! 

Unfortunately, this type of weather doesn't last forever. We need to make each moment count!
