I Love This Tattoo

Hey there, I know there are a thousand other things out for me to focus on besides some body art (tattoo) on a man. I'm sure by the time you've read this far, most of you have already thought of at least two (namely, cocks and ass). Most of us gay men think on the same page. I'm no different from anyone else. But, every now and again, I see something that I like and I'm intrigued.

I'm not really into tats. I'm way too skinny to have one on my arms or legs. What the hell do I mean, I'm too thin to sport one on my neck as well. And I have too much fur on my chest and my ass to even think about having one on either. Honestly, I'm too proud of my ass and chest fur to think about shaving any of it for a tattoo. So, I'm here, slim and all skin, no body ink. Just me.

However, a couple of weeks back, at a nudist social, I saw this guy with a tat similar to the one pictured here. It was on one pec and incorporated the nipple, then down his arm ending at his half-forearm. You all know that I'm a serious nipple-man (among other regions of the male anatomy) and I was attracted to the way his ink included his nipple into the design. It looked both hot and cool, at the same time. The way the one pictured here does. It made me want to just bend down and start tonguing those nips right then and there, in front of all the other men present. Yes, I do know how to fantacize like a two-bit-ho! LOL!

Anyway, I asked my BF for the umpteenth time if he thought I should get a tattoo. He replied as he always has: better to be an amateur artist than be an art gallery. At least, he agrees with me!

Actor Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel, as he is known professionally, is an American actor, writer, director and producer who became known to moviegoers in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He was born to an Italian-American mother, Delora, and a father of Black descent. His mother is a psychiatrist and astrologer. He never knew his biological father and was raised by his African-American stepfather, Irving, an acting instructor and theater manager. He was born Mark Sinclair Vincent on July 18, 1967, in New York City.

Like others before him, he made his stage debut at the age of seven, having a role in the children's play, "Dinosaur Doors" written by Barbara Garson. This was staged at the Theater for the New City located in New York's Greenwich Village. He landed the part when discovered, along with his brother and some friends, of breaking an entering the property with the intent to vandalize. The theater's artistic director, Crystal Field, gave them scripts to read rather than summon the police. He remained involved in live theater from then on. He attended Hunter College in New York City.

His major Hollywood break happened in the early years of the 21st century when he landed major parts in the successful films, "The Fast and the Furious," and "xXx." His well-defined physique and deep voice made him an instant hit among millions of fans throughout the world. He made his first feature-length movie, "Strays" in 1997. He portrayed an urban gang-leader who's love of a woman caused him to try to change his life. He was self-cast as the male lead and wrote, directed and produced this film. It was selected for competition at the 1997 Sundance Festival.

In 1998, he was cast in the Steven Spielberg Oscar-winning production of "Saving Private Ryan." This was followed by success in the trilogy, "The Chronicles of Riddick." Since then, his film career has soared with box office hits in succession. He is both starring and producing in the upcoming 2011 movie: "Fast Five."  The majority of his leading roles have him cast as the action-thriller hero, frequently without his shirt much to the delight of his public following. Mr. Diesel has also founded the production companies, One Race Films, Tigon Studios and Racetrach Records. In addition to "Strays" in 1997, he also wrote and produced the 1994 film, "Multi-Facial." Vin has a daughter, Hania Riley, born April 2, 2008, with his girlfriend, model Paloma Jiminez. He has been an avid player of the game, Dungeons and Dragons, for more than twenty years.

Like many people of mixed-race heritage, Vin Diesel has often commented on the predicament of frequently being identified as "too-black for white audiences and too-white for black audiences." He self-describes himself as "definately a person of color." He labels himself as "multi-faceted" due to his early difficulties in finding roles due to his mixed-racial background, despite his enormous sex appeal.
He changed his name to Vin Diesel while employed as bouncer at the NYC nightclub, Tunnel. One's real name is never used in that particular line of work; "Vin" is a shortened version of Vincent, his surname, and "Diesel" is a nickname used by friends because of his excessive energy.

Personally, I find his shaved head and diesel body too fine and too sexy!

Easter Greetings!

"Indeed, Christ Is Risen" is the Easter message on this holiday card. I wish to everyone of you all the best of joy, hope and happiness during this very special time of the year. In the Greek Orthodox faith, this is the holiest of holidays on the liturgical calendar and this feast always has a very important place within my heart. For me, this time is much more than an assortment of chocolates and other candies (not that I dislike any of them). It's more about rebirth and renewal, putting the past mistakes and wrongs behind and beginning with a clean slate, starting off fresh, one more time. It's also about family and all those we love and hold dear to us. Lastly, but most importantly, it's about faith, our values and our beliefs. I'm on my way to spend this greatest of holidays with my BF and my family, immediate and extended. Happy Easter to all! God bless!

Mixed Race Celebrity Mondays: Shemar Moore

Shemar Franklin Moore is an American actor and former fashion model with a legion of fans worldwide due to his universal sex appeal and the countless photographs of him shirtless and in suggestive poses. He was born on April 20, 1970, in Oakland, California (Happy Early Birthday, brotha). His mother is of Dutch/French-Canadian heritage and his father is African-American. He spent his youth living in both Europe and North America before his family finally settled in Palo Alto, California. He attended and graduated from Gunn High School in that city. He received his baccalaureate degree in Communications from Santa Clara University. It was while attending university that he began his modelling career. Initially, he modelled in order to meet the costs of college tuition. He was represented by DNA Model Management Agency, New York City.

Shemar landed his first acting role in 1994, securing the role of Malcolm Winters in the daytime television soap opera, "The Young and the Restless." He starred as this character for eight years, finally leaving the show in September, 2005. It was during his appearance on this series that his modelling career soared and he attracted an admiring public throughout the world. While on "The Young and the Restless," Brotha Moore  also weekly hosted the syndicated version of the series, "Soul Train," for network TV. He served as host from 1999 until 2003. In the fall season of 2005, Moore made his debut into primetime television on the new series, "Criminal Minds." He stars as Detective Derek Morgan, the second-in-command of a forensic investigative unit for the FBI. He continues in this role currently. This year, he has made guest appearances, portraying himself, on both "The Ellen Degeneres" show and "The Mo'nique Show." In 1998, he played a waiter/love interest character in the television music video, "Splackavellie."

Shemar Moore is an avid cyclist, often pedalling between fifty to seventy-five miles on weekends. This passion comes at a high price. in August, 2009, he was hit by a car while riding his bike. Fortunately, all the injury he sustained was a broken leg. He fully recovered from this accident and his "Criminal Minds" filming schedule was not affected. Moore has also turned his bicycling enthusiasm into a philanthropic cause. In 1998, his mother was diagnosed with MS. As her condition deteriorated, he confided his situation with his fellow cast members on "Criminal Minds," many who shared his interest in cycling. They suggested that he explore MS events around the country, including bike rides. He decided the MS Bike Tour offered the best opportunity for meeting others living with MS, individuals affected by a loved one with MS and doctors/experts treating persons with the disease. As a direct result, he and fellow cast members from "Criminal Minds" annually compete in a one-hundred mile MS Bike Tour to help raise awareness about the illness and to raise money for additional research. As of this writing, his mother is successfully managing her MS and remain mobile.

In July, 2007, Shemar was photographed on a fan's cell-phone while relaxing at a nudist beach on the Pacific Coast. Many predicted that this incident would mean the death of his professional career as the actor was completely nude (Nekkidfurryboi note: Why was anyone surprised he was naked? It was at a naturist beach!). The exact opposite happened; his popularity increased. In several media interviews following the photo incident, Shemar directly responded to queries with the fact that he's always been comfortable with his nudity. He never cringed nor flinched when photos of him naked flaunting his manhood appeared in the background.  It isn't often that honesty emerges from anyone in the entertainment industry. Three In A Row?

What I would like to know is, are we going to try for another Guiness Book of Records statistic for this year, 2011? I know that for the past two years, the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) has sponsored worldwide attempts to establish a record for the number of skinny dippers. Is this same competition being held again this year? Although not specifically nudist oriented, it is great fun and most participants have a fun attitude while frolicking naked in the water. I hope it's happening again this year. I have two friends of mine who aren't nudists but would like to help break the record. Who knows? After trying it once, they may begin to shed their clothes more often!

Giancarlo Esposito is an American actor, director and producer. He has acted on Broadway, in films and television and directed and produced both movies and television. He was born Giancarlo Giuseppe Alessandro Esposito on April 26, 1958, in Copenhagen, Denmark. His father is Italian and his mother is African-American. He lived in Europe and settled with his family in New York City at the age of six.

He had his debut on Broadway in 1968, in the short-lived play, "Maggie Flynn." During the 1980s, he had supporting roles in numerous films, among the most popular, "Maximum Overdrive," "King of New York," "Trading Places" and "Taps." During this same decade, he appeared in guest roles on the television series, "Miami Vice" and "Spenser: For Hire." In 1988, he received his breakthrough in movies teaming with Spike Lee in "School Daze." Later, he starred in Lee's productions of "Do The Right Thing," "Mo' Better Blues" and "Malcolm X."

In 2006, he starred with Queen Latifah and Timothy Hutton in "Last Holiday." His directorial debut was in the 2008 movie, "Gospel Hill." He played a leading role in that same film. He has both directed and made guest appearances in the TV shows, "NYPD Blue," "Law & Order" and "The Practice."

He was awarded with both an Obie and a Theatre World Award for his role in "Zooman and the Sign" in 1988. He received his second Obie Award for "Distant Fires" in 1993.

Pardon the pun, I simply couldn't pass on that opportunity! Get ready, folks! April is already here and Spring has officially arrived and underway.
