The World Through My Eyes

The World Through My Eyes: A collection of essays, reflections and thoughts about men, sex, love, relationships, politics, friendships, nudism, current events, social concerns, humanitarian issues, religion and all those wonderful experiences that constitute life as seen and felt by me: a thirty-something Deaf Gay man of mixed racial heritage (half-black, half-white) living in the Virginia Beach area of the United States. A scrapbook of my life. I've been a confirmed Gay nudist for the past 20 years (since puberty). Sometimes, we just need to step back and chill and try not to be so serious and tense. Life is short, stand up and get into it! nekkidfurryboi@gmail.com.

Positive And Beneficial Results

The pleasures and rewards of nudism are many and plenty. Freedom from the restriction of clothing, the liberation of our body in order for us to be our true, natural selves and the rejection of artificial garments as a basis of judgment. In other words, what you see are our actual and honest physical image. This is really what we are as endowed by nature. No surprises here; this is it!

Our nudity fosters total equality for all. It eliminates assumptions, discriminations and judgments surrounding the styles of clothing and fashion. We are all naked. There is no longer any need to stress over what to wear to a certain party. We no longer need to worry about overpriced designer originals nor the vogue trends in apparel. Essentially, we are simply our own skin. Nude, we are all the same and socioeconomic status is of no concern nor a gauge for prejudice. Our nudity equalizes the entire playing field.

Our nakedness preserves our natural environment. It reduces the amount of phosphates; the fewer clothes washed, the less detergent used. The less garments necessary or required, the fewer natural fibers needed and the reduction of man-made, artificial materials demanded. Cut back on garments produced impacts the amount of chemicals (such as dyes, flame retardants, etc.) that pollute our earth. All of these factors affect the fossil fuel energy necessary for the manufacture and maintenance (cleaning) of the items listed above. Basically, the less we need, the more we preserve. And this equals good for our planet.

Naturism/nudism is a definate plus for our environment. Less consumption translates into less waste return to challenge our shrinking natural reserve. In 2011, think Green. Be nice to Mother Nature. Be naked. Be Green.

I enjoy going free. Nudism is something I wish I could enjoy more frequently. Many people are openly shy about it. I've heard of nude bowling night and nude swimming at public pools. Wish more groups existed that promoted these types of events.
